超簡單、零失敗!我的第一堂甜點課- 妞仔新書發表會

Today a book signing event was held at Breeze Centre. The event was about a book written by a popular Taiwanese blogger/cook called Neochai, who is based in London and has received a diploma from Le Cordon Bleu. More than 3000 people read her blog every day. We were very lucky to have seen her in person. What's more, we all tried the scones and blueberry muffins she made for us! This book signing event was fantastic!

今天我去微風廣場的參加了人氣部落客妞仔的新書發表會「超簡單、零失敗!我的第一堂甜點課:800張精確圖解一學就會,享受成功烘焙樂趣!」

Handmade Italian Chocolate Cookies[義大利手工巧克力餅乾]  

去花蓮時,適逢雨天,所以我們的活動全都在飯店進行,也因此無法在2天的短暫停留花蓮期間欣賞太魯閣之美。但是,公司安排一項很有趣的活動,就是讓我們親手做手工巧克力餅乾! 現場除了發放食譜供參外,還有主廚親自解說,連食材都幫我們備妥,超讚的啦!

金磚蛋糕!

 Ever since I brought Madeleine cakes home last month, my sister has been asking me frequently when I would bring her similar cakes.  Thank God we learned how to make another kind of French cake during the bakery workshop yesterday.  This time we learned how to make financier cakes.  The major difference between Madeleine cakes and financier cakes is that we don't need eggs for making financier cakes.  自從上回帶瑪德琳椹果背殼蛋糕回家後,懶人二號就頻頻問懶人一號何時還可能帶類似的蛋糕回家讓她吃、、、呵呵~~所幸大廚這次要示範的是跟瑪德琳椹果背殼蛋糕非常類似的法國長溫蛋糕 - 銀行家專門吃的小西點,稱做「Financier」(金磚蛋糕)。對懶人一號二號而言,這兩種蛋糕吃起來都一樣好吃,差異在於金磚蛋糕不需要用到蛋黃。所以如果不想吃蛋黃的人,倒是可以參考一下這個配方。

Christmas Chocolate House [聖誕巧克力屋]

Last week we learned how to make chocolate houses at the usual bakery workshop.  From the first collage you can see that we need some chocolate pieces.  The chef bought two kinds of chocolate pieces, so we could decide which flavour of the chocolate we wanted.  I chose milk chocolate. 上週我們適逢聖誕節的來臨,大廚應景教導我們如何製作巧克力屋。首先我們可以從拼貼看到材料,材料很簡單,巧克力部分就是巧克力碎塊,分牛奶巧克力跟苦甜巧克力,兩種都很好吃喔!

上週我去看人家做慕斯Mousse。剛開始覺得很悶,後來可以吃慕斯時,覺得一切的等待是值得的!只要付材料費120元就可以吃到4個慕斯,呵呵~~
